Bantams fight back for win

Bradford clawed their way back from a half-time deficit to go top with a 4-1 home win over Exeter.

McCall's men come from behind to go top

Bradford clawed their way back from a half-time deficit to record a convincing 4-1 victory to go top of the table with their biggest win of the season. Matt Gill gave Exeter a 38th-minute lead when the Bradford defence failed to clear Ryan Harley's cross. But Bradford hit back in spectacular style with four goals in 19 minutes - two from leading goalscorer Peter Thorne and the other two from strike partner Michael Boulding. Thorne equalised in the 53rd minute after goalkeeper Paul Jones had failed to hold Joe Colbeck's shot. Boulding then headed the home side into the lead five minutes later before Thorne scored the third with his eighth goal of the season from another Colbeck cross. Boulding then completed the scoring four minutes later with his third goal for Bradford following his summer move from Mansfield.
