Stockport put their off-the-field financial troubles behind them to reinforce their challenge for the play-offs with a 2-1 win at Carlisle.
A second-half strike from leading scorer Tommy Rowe clinched the points for County after Carlisle's Lewis Neal had cancelled out Dominic Blizzard's early opener.
The visitors took the lead after just six minutes with a fine individual effort from Blizzard.
A rash challenge by Carlisle defender Richard Keogh gave Blizzard the chance to break forward and the Stockport attacker fired home from 25 yards with a dipping shot.
The visitors continued to push and Chris O'Grady hit the bar with a 26th-minute header from Rowe's cleverly flighted corner and Oli Johnson missed a great chance to double County's lead just before half-time when he fluffed a one-on-one.
Carlisle had little to show for their first-half efforts but it only took them eight minutes of the second period to level matters, Cleveland Taylor finding Neal who struck a skidding low shot from 15 yards.
Just when Carlisle were looking threatening for the first time in the match Stockport hit them with the winner in the 69th minute. Home keeper Williams made a double save to deny O'Grady and Rowe, however the striker was quick to react and poked home
