Austrian midfielder opts for move to Italy
Torino have signed former Plymouth Argyle target Jurgen Saumel on a three-year contract.
The Austrian midfielder had been available on a free transfer after his contract with Sturm Graz expired.
He was wanted by Championship club Plymouth and held talks with Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock regarding a move.
However, Saumel did not agree terms on a deal at Home Park and has now accepted a switch to Italy.
Saumel has passed a medical with Torino and is expected to train with his new team-mates for the first time on Wednesday.
