League One side Brentford have snapped up former Manchester United youngster Conor Devlin on a one-month contract.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper, who has represented Northern Ireland at Under 16 through to Under 21 level, failed to make the grade at Old Trafford and was released over the summer.
With back-up goalkeeper Simon Moore out injured, Bees boss Uwe Rosler was on the look-out for temporary cover and was pleased with the arrival of the Belfast-born shot-stopper.
"Conor is Northern Ireland Under 21 goalkeeper and spent many years at Manchester United," Rosler told the club's
official website.
"He did well in training today. It will be a great experience for him and he has helped us.
"It is difficult to get players on loan for a month if they won't start every game."
