Dutch defender out for a month after breaking toe

Stuttgart defender Khalid Boulahrouz is set to spend four weeks on the sidelines after breaking his big toe in training on Wednesday, the club has confirmed. The Dutchman, who has notched up 21 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring two goals, suffered the injury after colliding with team-mate Christian Genter. Boulahrouz, capped over 30 times for the Netherlands national side, is concentrating on his recovery. The 30-year-old said: "It's obviously very disappointing, but I will focus on rehabilitation and work hard to return." Stuttgart are unbeaten in their last four games and have climbed to eighth in the league. They are just three points from a UEFA Europa League place for next season and will host Nuremberg on Sunday.
