Midfielder breaks off contract talks with Dutch club

Belgian midfielder Stanley Aborah will depart Vitesse Arnhem when his contract expires in the summer, the Eredivisie club have announced. The Ghana-born 24-year-old, who joined Vitesse from Belgian side Cappellen in 2011, had been in talks with the Eredivisie club about a new deal. The club announced Aborah had broken off the talks and would leave at the end of a season which sees Vitesse battling for a Europa League place for the 2012-13 campaign. Vitesse said in a statement on the club's official website: "Vitesse and Aborah were talking together about a new contract, but the player has indicated he does not want the talks to continue. "That automatically means that Aborah leaves the Arnhem club at the end of the season."
