Dutch midfielder departs Eredivisie for Dynamo Moscow

Midfielder Otman Bakkal has joined Dynamo Moscow on a three-year deal after his contract at PSV Eindhoven expired. The once-capped Holland international spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, scoring nine goals in 28 Eredivisie games. It is thought the Rotterdammers were keen to keep the 27-year-old at De Kuip but Bakkal was desperate for a foreign move. Russian club Dynamo confirmed the capture of the attacking midfielder on a free transfer on their official website.

Ambitious

Bakkal said on his arrival: "From the first contact I had with representatives of the Moscow club, I knew they were a serious club. "What I've seen has fully justified my expectations. "This is an ambitious team with big goals. I have made an excellent decision and I am glad that I've become part of Dynamo." Bakkal had been on PSV's books since he began his professional career in 2003 but spent time on loan at FC Den Bosch, FC Eindhoven and FC Twente, as well as Feyenoord. He will link up with former PSV team-mate Balazs Dzsudzsak at Dynamo after the Hungarian winger moved to Russia in January.
