Choe bags only goal of the game

North Korea secured a morale-boosting win ahead of next summer's World Cup by defeating Qatar 1-0. The win over the hosts was North Korea's second in this year's International Friendship tournament. The Koreans owed their win to their striker Choe Chol-man, who scored the only goal on the night in the 59th minute to give his side their sixth point. In Wednesday's other match in the tournament, Mali bounced back from their first defeat at the hands of North Korea to beat Iran 2-1. Karim Ansarifard gave the lead to Iran after only eight minutes but Mali levelled the scores in the 28th minute through Tenema N'Diaye and two minutes later Bakaye Traore netted the winner.
