Torquay maintained their promotion push by beating Cheltenham 2-1 at Plainmoor to soar into fourth place in League Two.
The hosts took the lead when Chris Zebroski played a superb cross-field pass out to the left wing to Jake Robinson, whose shot was diverted out for a corner. Craig Stanley's 28th-minute corner from the left was met with a downward header by central defender Guy Branston for his second goal in successive games. In the 71st minute on-loan Ipswich teenager Ronan Murray finally claimed his first Gulls goal with a clinical six-yard finish. Cheltenham defender Danny Andrew gave the Robins a late lifeline with a thumping 89th-minute free-kick that Scott Bevan found too hot to hold.
