Great Britain recovered from a 10-point deficit to beat Germany 81-74 and keep alive their chances of qualifying for the next stage of EuroBasket.

Andrew Lawrence top-scored with 23 points while Myles Hesson added 21 as Britain ended back-to-back defeats to post a vital triumph.

The Germans opened a 23-13 lead during the opening quarter before Britain hit back with 11 unanswered points.

GB led 42-38 at half-time and were 59-56 ahead going into the final quarter.

And another solid conclusion to the match - they took the final segment 22-18 - ensured victory.

Joe Prunty's team had opened the tournament in Slovenia with a win over Israel before losses to France and Belgium.

Sunday's win over the Germans makes it a 50% success rate from four games and they will need to beat Ukraine in their final group match to secure a spot in the next round.
