Our man on the Newmarket gallops has news of star filly Dank, Estimate, Pavlosk and others. Sir Michael Stoute was on the Limekilns round gallop first lot where the spotlight fell on US-bound DANK. The high-class filly, winner of the Beverley D at Arlington last month, was partnered by Ryan Moore in a workout with THEODORE GERICAULT. The latter is a willing worker and a good yardstick to judge the value of work, but he finished a couple of lengths down on the filly as the pair quickened from the seven and a half to the nine. Stoute is very unlikely to run Dank on Arc weekend with a shot at the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita the plan. ESTIMATE is gradually easing towards another run and the Gold Cup winner looked in good form as she came up with PAVLOSK. The pair quickened on the bridle in the final furlong of a mile spin, with Estimate finishing half a length up. Next up were WAILA and LABARINTO, who joined issue at the seven and a half before finishing upsides HILLSTAR is being readied for a tilt at the Champion Stakes and he looked in extremely good form. Tracking lead horse CIRCUS TURN, he joined that stablemate a furlong and a half down before impressively pulling three clear. Moore partnered a two-year-old, SAVANT, who had no answer to the finishing kick of CANNOCK CHASE with EYE CONTACT the trailer.
