Three first-half penalties from Nick Macleod had given the hosts a 9-3 lead at the interval, but Bath edged ahead when Horacio Agulla's try was converted by Tom Heathcote.
However, Brady was on hand in the last 10 minutes to save the Sharks, who closed the victory out despite a penalty from Heathcote reducing the gap to just one point.
Sale are now six points clear of bottom club London Welsh, who are in action against Gloucester on Saturday.
In snow-laden conditions, Sale stand-off Macleod opened the scoring from the kicking tee after 21 minutes when the visitors were caught offside.
Heathcote missed his first chance to level matters from the edge of the 22 but made up for that error soon after when he made no mistake from further out.
But it was not long before the Sharks were back in front as Macleod capitalised on a Bath infringement for his second penalty and then added a further three-pointer on the stroke of half-time.
The visitors started the second half with renewed vigour and their pressure paid off when Matt Banahan's surge and offload found Agulla and the winger scampered over for a converted try.
Sale continued to show plenty of determination, with their forwards carrying well, and they fashioned the decisive score when a well-worked move saw Brady collect out wide and outrun the defence to touch down.
Heathcote did manage to reduce the arrears late on, but the Sharks held firm to complete the victory.
